Unexpectedly

I was talking to someone the other day and they said “he unexpectedly passed away,” which got me thinking. How can just someone UNEXPECTEDLY die? Don’t we all UNEXPECTEDLY DIE?? Like really. None of us know when we’re going to go. It’s not like there will be an email in our morning inbox….

Dear (insert your name here),

This email is just to inform you that you will die tomorrow. A chorus of angels will arrive to pick you up at 11:05am. Please inform your loved ones and make all necessary arrangements.

I mean really now! That doesn’t happen, though if someone paid me enough, I would set up a fake account and people could pay me to prank their friends. I can see the infomercial for it now. (You can prank your friends for the low price of $4.99, but WAIT if you call in the next two minutes you can prank 2 friends for the price of one. Can we bring Billie Mayes down to host it??) For reals though, none of us know when we’re going to go, so stop saying they died unexpectedly! It’s like saying its cold in January!
